IJENDA: Evaluating Workshop of the activities and future prospects of the Joint Program at Service Yezu Mwiza

As part of the implementation of Joint Program (JP), Service Yezu Mwiza has organized, from 05 to 06 August 2019 in Ijenda, a Workshop to evaluate the activities and future prospects for the Provincials’ Responsible of joint program.

The Executive Director of SYM, the Manager of JP project, and the Provincials’ Responsible of the project were present at that workshop.
The Manager of JP project welcomed all participants especially the Executive Director who, despite his multiple tasks, was able to find time to devote to them for advice on implementation of the activities in order to reach the objectives of the project.

The Executive Director of SYM, Father Vedaste NKESHIMANA, urged all participants to always strive for excellence in the tasks entrusted to them by respecting the procedures and working in a transparent way. He ended his speech by giving them advices on the virtues of obedience at work.

With the aim of improving the actions of the Joint Program in the areas of interventions, that workshop had the following objectives: assessment of the progress of activities of the JP project; reinforcement of capacities of the staff on the use of work tools; and the development of the Joint Program's innovative strategies for visibility of Community actions.
"This workshop was beneficial for all of us, because it allowed us to master the use of work tools, to know the validity of the supporting documents we receive from the suppliers during the reporting activities, and gave the opportunity to look back and find solutions where we have encountered difficulties in order to achieve the objectives of the project with excellence "Testified one of the provincials’ responsible.
Apart from that, it was also an opportunity to discuss the implementation difficulties encountered in the field and the approaches implemented at the level of each intervention zone and whether, despite some difficulties, the project has had a positive impact in the community.

It should be noted that after the ended of workshop, the entire JP team joined the SYM office on August 06, 2019 where all the staff members were gathered in an exchange session on good governance and accountability.
