As part of its mission to strengthen health facilities in sub-Saharan Africa, Gould Family Foundation (GFF) has, this Friday, February 22, 2022, offered a donation of medical equipment to Service Yezu Mwiza (SYM).

The donation consists mainly of examination light, infant height and weight electronic babyScale, adult height and weight Scale, examination beds, instrument cart, stethoscopes- duel pulse, digital thermometer, otoscope and thermometers.

According to Dr. Bella NIHORIMBERE, Head of martin Royackers SJ clinic, those equipment will be used in the new services recently opened at SYM, namely: prenatal consultation (CPN) and vaccination, with the aim of offering quality services.

"A pregnant woman and a newborn baby are very fragile beings, the follow-up of their state of health must be regular and rigorous, hence the need for SYM to offer a complete package of care services that helps to this follow-up. This donation offered by GFF is very gratifying because to offer a best quality of services you must always have the appropriate equipment at your disposal”, she adds.

Even the beneficiaries welcome the implementation of these new services at SYM "it is a saving of time and resources for us who, in order to have ANC services or to have our children vaccinated, had to go to other structures, now we will have the complete package of replica watches services in the same place”

Note that Gould Family Foundation partners with community NGO health facilities to help reduce neonatal and maternal mortality rates and improve the quality of health care available in rural clinics and hospitals in Africa.
