The Joint Programme "Menyumenyeshe" in Burundi (be informed and inform others) focuses on improving the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and young people (ASRH) in Burundi. It focuses on three sectors of the direct environment of young people: schools, communities and health centres:

The global school approach is implemented by conducting awareness-raising sessions in 32 schools in order to promote and extend the global school strategy; strengthen access to information on sexual and reproductive health (SRH) in schools, involve all school students by organizing mass awareness raising on SRH and gender-based violence (GBV).

The comprehensive community approach will stimulate collaboration between young people, parents, community leaders, network members and all community stakeholders to improve the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and young people aged 10 to 24.

The Youth Friendly Health Centre help to promote a supportive environment for ASRH by involving the various stakeholders in activities organized by and for young people within the Youth Friendly Health Centre and socio-community networks.
