Service Yezu Mwiza (SYM) in collaboration with GIZ/health, through the Health Services Strengthening Project in the areas of Family Planning and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), delivered on Wednesday, 09 October 2019 a donation of equipment consisting of 50 chairs, 2 meeting tables and 2 office cupboards for filing files at Rweza Health Center in Muramvya District Health.

Father Védaste NKESHIMANA, Executive Director of SYM, enhanced his presence at the presentation of this donation and in his speech first emphasized that Service Yezu Mwiza as its name suggests is characterized by compassion and love in the image of Jesus, and it is in this love that SYM with the technical and financial support of the GIZ/health thought of CDS Rweza which had a room but no equipment. He ended his speech by urging the users of this equipment to take care of it so that it can be used as long as possible.

Room of CDS Rweza and inside view before being equipped Mrs. Ndayishimiye Jeanne, holder of the CDS Rweza, thanked SYM and GIZ/health through the SRHR project for this donation and pointed out that the CDS had a room but could not equip it due to lack of resources.
"Before, to hold meetings, we used the benches in the waiting room for patients or use chairs in different offices. It means that, when there are many people in the meeting, we should wait for the patients to leave so that we can organize the meeting.
But with this donation, we are so happy, now it will be easy for us to have meetings in good working conditions. We also use this room for the supervision of the young people of the network around CDS Rweza, these young people will feel comfortable.
I would like to take this opportunity to ask SYM and GIZ/Health to continue to support CDS Rweza, especially so that the supervision of these young people in CDS can take place under the best possible conditions"
. She added.

Note that the donation has coincided with the quarterly meeting of animators (schools, community) and members of the network committee.
The purpose of this meeting was to evaluate the activities carried out in previous months but also to raise the difficulties encountered on the field.
During this meeting, the facilitators raised the problem of teaching materials that are not yet available (booklets and other documents) used during the field trip and the lack of protective equipment, especially since with the rainy season the activities are not carried out well.

During the quarterly meeting and distribution of teaching materials to facilitators A representative of GIZ/Health, in his intervention, informed them that they had resolved their complaints by bringing the educational and protective material.
The SYM Executive Director and a representative of GIZ/Health then gave the newly trained facilitators those set of small booklets as teaching tools and a bag to facilitate transport to prevent rain damage.
