The mobile Clinic is a unit of Service Yezu Mwiza, which makes it easier for beneficiaries to no longer travel to SYM headquarters, to obtain ARV drugs, for consultations and follow-up biologicaly examinations. Thanks to it, we were able to achieve better stability of the viral load of our beneficiaries, patients who previously lacked the means to travel to SYM, to stock up on ARV drugs, thus leading to non-compliance with treatment. These beneficiaries also take the opportunity to seek treatment, which contributes to the improvement of their health.

However, performing in the field is not easy; sometimes we encounter logistical problems; patients absent for the appointment, should be visited at home to find out the reason for their absence, and inquire about their health status. Thank God, currently we have a spacious vehicle, suitable for the field, even if there are very remote localities, where we are obliged to leave our vehicle on the road and walk on foot for at least 30 min or more. Despite this, we are delighted with the work and the results of the mobile clinic.
