SYM beneficiary in Kabezi

Since I have been receiving support services at SYM, I feel safe because I know I am in good hands, I am surrounded by people who care about my health. But at first I had to walk to SYM headquarters to take my medication; at my advanced age not having some money for bus was a shock so that sometimes I didn't have the courage to go. This led to irregularity in taking the medication, which was not good for my health. But with the mobile clinic approach, my problem was solved because now we don't have to go to SYM anymore. The clinic comes to our locality, our community with the whole package of services (consultation, medication, therapeutic education, viral load measurement). I say thank you to SYM’s team because they have taken away the burden of our long journey and today our health is better because we are following the treatment correctly. By the way, we have no more excuses for not taking medication regularly.
