I am grateful to Service Yezu Mwiza, because accepting to give me a professional internship in the laboratory service has given me a unique opportunity. This allows me to acquire practical skills in the laboratory Service, particularly in welcoming patients who come for screening, in taking samples for other biological tests, especially since they require much more precaution and attention, but also experience in preparing viral load samples. Thanks to this internship I have the opportunity to handle the Genexpert machine used for the detection of resistant tuberculosis, a machine that is only available in very few structures here in Burundi.
