Christine, beneficiary of Nurem project in Gitaza

Publié le 27/08/2019 ...
Before I started working in groups in IGAs, I thought it would prevent me from going about my activities for the survival of my children, especially since my husband abandoned us. From where we were before, and where we are now, there is a big difference; working together has not only strengthened our unity, but has also opened our mind. With my group, we chose to do small business and we are proud of what we have become thanks to Service Yezu Mwiza through its Nurem project. For example, 6 out of 7 of my children go to school now, I manage to pay their school fees and feed them without difficulty despite their father's absence; all thanks to the income from our business. We intend to go further towards autonomy, as the African proverb says, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
